Shihadha al-Yamani was an Egyptian Qur'an reader named after the village of Kafr al-Yaman in Qalyubiyya. He took the readings from Nasir al-Din al-Tablawi; his son Abd al-Rahman read part of the Qur'an with him in the seven readings. He died after the pilgrimage as he left Medina.
