Abu al-Salah Nur al-Din Ali ibn Muhsin al-Sa'idi al-Wafa'i al-Maliki, known as al-Rumayli, an Egyptian Qur'an teacher of al-Azhar. He read the readings with Muhammad ibn Qasim al-Baqri. Abd al-Rahman al-Ajhuri, Muhammad ibn Hasan al-Samannudi 'al-Munayyir' and Ali al-Badri took the readings from him. He wrote a treatise on the readings of 'al-ana' (Yunus 10:51, 91).
