A walkthrough of opening the General Availability form, reviewing the seven-day layout, enabling a day by ticking its checkbox, setting start and end times for that day, understanding the difference between General and Weekly availability, and reviewing the Save button.
Sign in to your teacher dashboard and go to Profile, then select Availability to open the availability settings. The General Availability form shows a row for each day of the week — tick a day to mark it as available and set the hours you are willing to teach.
Each row shows a day name with a checkbox. Tick the checkbox to mark that day as available — the row switches from showing "Unavailable" to showing time slot inputs. Untick a checked day to mark it as unavailable and remove all its slots.
For each available day, the start and end time fields define your teaching window. Click the start time field and type or select a time such as 9:00 AM. Then set the end time such as 6:00 PM. Use the plus icon to add a second slot on the same day if you have a break in the middle.
The Weekly tab lets you customise your availability for a specific week — for example to block a holiday or add extra slots for a busy week. Changes here override your general schedule for that one week only. Switch tabs using the General and Weekly labels at the top of the form.
After setting your available days and times in the General form, click Save to apply your recurring schedule. Your availability updates immediately and is visible to learners booking lessons. Return to this form whenever your regular teaching hours change.
