A walkthrough of opening the course edit wizard, clicking the Intended Learners step, filling in what students will learn, the course requirements, and who the course is for, then reviewing the Save and Next button.
Sign in to your teacher dashboard and open Courses. Click the Edit button on your draft course to open the wizard. The wizard opens on the General tab — click Intended Learners in the sidebar to open the audience settings form.
The Intended Learners form has three sections. Start with What will students learn — type one clear learning outcome per line. Use plain language that describes a concrete skill or piece of knowledge students will gain. Click Add More to add additional learning outcomes.
In the Requirements section, list any skills or tools students need before starting — if there are none, write that the course is suitable for complete beginners. In the Who is this course for section, describe the target student so they can quickly decide whether this course fits their needs.
Once all three sections are filled, click Save and Next in the sidebar. This saves the intended learner data and advances the wizard to the Price step. You can return to this step at any time before submitting the course for review.
