A walkthrough of opening the Courses dashboard, clicking Edit on a draft course, reviewing the pre-filled general form, updating the title, subtitle, category, and teaching language, and clicking Save and Next to save the changes.
Sign in to your teacher dashboard and open Courses from the navigation menu. Find the course you want to update and click the Edit button on its card. The Edit button appears only on draft courses that have not yet been submitted for review.
The general info form opens with the existing course data already filled in. Update the title to reflect your changes — keep it under 80 characters. Then update the subtitle to give students a clear idea of what the course covers and who it is for.
If the course fits a different category, update the category and subcategory dropdowns. Then check the teaching language and level — for example Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced. These settings control how students discover the course in search and filters.
Scroll to the Description field and confirm the rich text content is up to date. Once all required fields are valid, the Save and Next button in the sidebar becomes active. Click it to save your changes and move to the next step of the course wizard.
