Abu al-Dahhak Irak ibn Khalid al-Murri was the Qur'an teacher of Damascus in his time. He took the reading from his father Khalid ibn Yazid and from Yahya ibn al-Harith al-Dhimari, and Hisham ibn Ammar and al-Rabi' ibn Taghlib read with him. He died before 200 AH.
