A Syrian reader and preacher from Hama, known as the Qari of Hama. He read to Shaykh Abd al-Aziz Uyun al-Sud in the reading of Abu Amr al-Basri and was licensed by him, studied the Tayyiba with him, and also learned from Hasan Khattab, Muhyi al-Din al-Kurdi and Muhammad al-Hamid. He served as imam and preacher at several Hama mosques, taught many, and died in Hama in May 2010.
