Ali ibn Muhsin al-Sa'idi, Abu al-Salah, a Maliki Shadhili Wafa'i scholar known as al-Rumayli (from al-Rumayla). He read the ten readings with Muhammad ibn Qasim al-Baqri and taught them to Muhammad ibn Hasan al-Munir al-Samannudi, Mahfuz al-Fammi and Ahmad ibn Mustafa al-Zubayri of Alexandria. He wrote a commentary on al-Durra (al-Minah al-Ilahiyya) and a treatise on Hamza's and Hisham's pausing, and was alive after 1130 AH.
